I spent the better part of last week putting the finishing touches on a few new ‘lines’ of hollow books that I’ll be adding to the Etsy store. All of these books have now been turned into Kindle/Nook holders/cases and I couldn’t be happier.
I’ve been measuring and tracing various e-readers for what feels like months, trying to figure out what your typical Kindle/Nook user would want in such a case. I also made them so that each would fit the 3rd Gen Kindle and both the Nook and Nook Color. The newest (tiny) Nook will of course also fit (however, the first two Kindles will not). They also each have an elastic band fitted on the back cover to keep them closed when not in use. These first five books are a test and we’ll see where they go from here. If you’re a Kindle/Nook user- please let me know what you think!:)
- pages before? As a Kindle/Nook user, would you prefer there to be pages in the front of the book to ‘hide’ your reader or would you prefer them not to be in your way at all?
- Does my signature library card in the front of the book bother you, or would you perhaps use it to hold things?
- Would you prefer it to be a docking station as well? Meaning, I could also slot out a hole in the bottom of the book so you could charge your device while in book?
Thanks for reading and Happy Tuesday!
